Why should you support me?
It’s really up to you, I don’t mind if you wouldn’t support me but I’ll be more motivated and do more translations if I have your support.
If you do want to support me, you might wonder why should you do so. If you don’t know me, I’m a Malay translator for software, plugins, mods and documents. I’m also the core Malay translator for Minetest, an open source infinite-world block sandbox game engine and game with survival and crafting. Besides that, I’m also helping development of some software, plugins, mods and documents in other ways such as debugging or reporting issues.
By supporting me, you show that you appreciate my work. It encourages me to spend more time to do translations and support the effort of global internationalization, to help more people understand more materials. It will also help me cover the costs of hosting my servers, which currently hosting the translation website (the website you’re reading at the moment) and Malay-specific Minetest server.
Please note that you should support me only if you like what I’ve done so far or if you want to support the effort of global internationalization. Else, you don’t have to do so. :)
How to support me?
There’s many way to support me.
- You can donate some money to me.
- You can send something to me.
- You can read and share my works.
- You can share link to this website or any page of this website to your friends.
Donate
You could donate to me through the following medium depending on whether you want to make recurrent donation or just to make one-time donation.
Please note that if your donation is specifically for something (eg. for paying my server or buy specific item such as food or clothing) then please either send email to me or chat through my Discord server to discuss about it first, regardless one-time or recurrent.
Currently, there are already people sponsoring my Discord Nitro subscription (MYR31.99/month) and my basic internet plan (MYR40.00/month), so don’t donate for those two purposes.
Recurrent Donation
If you prefer to consistently and continually donating weekly or monthly, you can donate to me using Liberapay.
One-Time Donation
If you prefer to do one-time donation, you can donate to me using either DuitNow, Ko-fi, or other payment methods.
DuitNow
For people in Malaysia or other countries that had linked with the DuitNow system in Malaysia, it is much preferred that you donate to me using DuitNow because I would receive it straight away instead of waiting 7 days for it to be cleared by intermediary payment processor, because DuitNow is a institution-to-institution direct payment system.
To donate via DuitNow, open your banking/eWallet app and scan the QR code below, enter the amount, and complete the transaction.
DuitNow should work with all major banks and most popular eWallet apps in Malaysia including Boost, Touch ‘n Go eWallet, and Grab.
For people from other countries who had linked with the DuitNow system in Malaysia, namely Singapore, Indonesia, and Thailand, the availability depends on the specific banking or eWallet app that you are using.
Ko-fi
Payment sent through Ko-fi will be processed through Stripe, and there will be 7 day delay because of payment processor screening. Feel free to drop any message as part of your donation on the platform.
Other methods
If the other methods are not usable, I also accept PayPal, but you need to contact me first to get the link. I can’t publish it publicly as there are increase in chargeback scam attempt where someone just send money and immediately retract it, and the PayPal system would end up charging me for the chargeback.
I can also try to arrange other payment methods not listed on this page as well.
Send Something
As a computer science person, public transport fan, and a translator, I will appreciate if you send me something related to computer, public transport, and languages. However, I will actually accept anything as long as it does not violate postal law and I won’t need to pay for customs. I’m not paying for customs if the item you’re sending to me get stuck in the customs office or import department.
Example of items you can send to me:
- Computer parts such as RAMs, CPUs, hard disks etc.
- Computer accessories such as mouse, keyboard, cooling pad, etc.
- Computer software
- Programming books
- Human language books
- Dictionaries
- Model trains
- Public transport maps
- Public transport stored-value cards
To send me softcopy or stuffs that could be transferred digitally, you can send them to my email [email protected] or chat through my Discord server mentioning that you want to send something (you can also just upload in public chat if you want others to get it as well, but if you just want to send to me and only me, mention in chat first so that I can open my DM).
To send me hardware, physical item or letter, you can send them to me using the following address.

I included my notification phone number which is usually required for parcel shipment. The number stated is only a notification number which uses SMS and public-facing WhatsApp, it doesn’t accept any incoming call. Country code is usually not needed because it’s intended for local courrier after it gets into the country, not for international courrier. Please note that there are THREE digit 1 in the phone number, don’t miss the third 1!
